Here are some answers to the most common questions about living at ZEITRAUM Solec in Warsaw.
The monthly rent is all-inclusive — WiFi, water, heating, and electricity are all covered. There are no additional utility bills. At move-in, you also receive a starter pack with bedding and basic kitchen utensils.
Five options are available: (1) Single room in a two-person unit — private room, shared bathroom and fridge with one other person. (2) Single room in a three-person unit — private room, shared bathroom and fridge with up to two others. (3) Double room in a three-person unit — shared with one flatmate. (4) Private single room with your own bathroom and fridge. (5) Private double room with your own bathroom and fridge, shared with one flatmate.
Two payments are required at booking: (1) Administration fee — a one-time, non-refundable fee of EUR 80. (2) Security deposit — equal to two months’ rent, returned after the contract ends. Both must be paid within 3 calendar days of making a reservation to confirm your place.
Yes — the entire reservation process and contract can be completed online through the booking application. You sign the contract in person at reception on check-in day.
The standard contract runs from September 1 to July 31. Other durations are possible in individually agreed cases — contact the team to discuss your dates.
All residents have free access to a rooftop terrace on the 11th floor, cinema room, shared kitchens, a quiet study area, a lounge, and a game room. The laundry room is available for a fee.
If you cancel more than 30 days before your start date, the deposit is fully refunded. Less than 30 days — the deposit is forfeited. The administration fee (EUR 80) is non-refundable in all cases.
Bring a valid photo ID (national ID card or passport) and the original signed contract (for minors — signed by a parent or legal guardian). After moving in, you have 7 days to report any pre-existing defects in the room — after that, you are financially responsible for them.
Yes. The building has 24/7 reception and security staff, CCTV in common areas and at the entrance, and a keycard access system — one card opens the front door, your room, and all common areas. Only residents and registered guests can enter the building.
Yes. Zeitraum Solec welcomes all students enrolled at a Polish university — Polish and international students alike, including Erasmus participants and PhD students. The student house also accepts working professionals aged 17–35. Contracts and correspondence are available in both English and Polish.
Zeitraum Solec is a mixed-gender student house — both men and women live here. However, you will never share a room or bathroom with a person of the opposite gender. Roommates are always of the same gender.
