Where is ZEITRAUM located and how to get there?
Our address is U Průhonu 1099/56, 170 00 Praha 7-Holešovice – https://goo.gl/maps/RBLTpmrEkg4Msa9CA.
The closest tram stops are Maniny and U Průhonu, both are just 3-minutes by a walk from ZEITRAUM.
Is ZEITRAUM far from the city center?
Not at all! Our residence has very convenient connection to the city center. Just hop on the tram and you will be there in just 15 minutes.

This website will also provide you with a lot of useful information about the transport around the city.
Is wi-fi available in the rooms?
Yes, high speed wi-fi connection is available throughout the whole building. You will get the password upon your arrival.
Are the prices on your website final? Do I have to pay for anything else?
Our prices include all the utility bills as well as the wi-fi. There are no additional fees apart from using the washing machine and the dryer (special tokens for these are sold at our reception, each costs 60 CZK). If your stay will be shorter than 61 consecutive calendar days, you will be asked to pay city tax in the amount 50 CZK/per day.
How do I make a reservation?
You can check the availability and make a reservation via the following link: https://students.zeitraum.re/ . The reservation process is very simple; just choose your check-in and check-out dates and your favorite room category. To complete the reservation, fill in the questionnaire and pay a refundable security deposit.
What is the “refundable security deposit” and when do I get it back?
The refundable security deposit is a one-time fee you need to pay in order to make a reservation. It is in the same amount as one month’s rent. You will get the deposit refund if the room will be returned in the same condition as it was received, without any damages or losses. Deposit payment is refunded withing 3 weeks after your check out.
When can I move in?
You can move in after 3 pm on the first day of your contract. It doesn’t matter if that day falls on a public holiday or on the weekend – we are ready to accommodate you anytime! If you know you are going to arrive at night, just drop us an e-mail and we will prepare an envelope with the keys and instructions, which will be handed over to you by the night security.
Where can I find a sample of the contract?
Before finishing your booking, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agreed with Terms and Conditions. By ticking this box you place the order. Agreement is concluded by sending the Order via the
electronic reservation form. Terms and Conditions, which you receive to your email after placing the order stand as a contract. Upon arrival you will sign a handover protocol.
How and when do I pay the first rent?
The payment of the first rent should be preferably paid before arrival via online payment or by the bank transfer. You can also pay upon the check-in by the credit card.
How and when do I pay the following rents?
Every following rent should always be paid before the 25th day of the previous calendar month, for which the rent is due. The payment schedule will be included in the confirmation of your reservation that you receive by an email. Rent can be paid via online payment, bank transfer or by credit card at our reception.
How can I get the Confirmation of Accommodation?
The Confirmation of Accommodation can be provided after you have paid the deposit and have completed the reservation. In case you need the confirmation of accommodation, contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will issue the document for you. Once it is ready, we let you know so you can arrange a pick up service from the reception. We do not send documents by post. Please note, that the first confirmation is issued for free and every other one is under the fee of 300 CZK / 12 EUR.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
If you need to cancel your reservation, we accept free of charge cancellations more than 30 days before the arrival date. If the reservation is cancelled less than 30 days before the arrival date, the security deposit will not be refunded.
Early terminations are possible after the arrival and hand-over of the keys as well. The termination notice must be delivered in a written form one whole month in advance, starting the first day of the month following by the month when the notice was delivered.
What if I need to postpone my check in date?
We accept changes of arrival date free of charge until one month before the arrival date. If you notify us later the security deposit will not be refunded.
What if I need to prolong my reservation?
Prolongations are possible if there are rooms available, therefore a request for an extension of your stay should be submitted in advance.
Is there a reception available during nighttime?
The reception is operating every day from 8 am till 7 pm, during the night time there is a night security.
Can I choose with whom will I share the bathroom?
(Applies to Single Room and Single Room Large)
We always do our best to accommodate guests by gender, but we can’t guarantee that this will be always possible.
Can I sub-let my room or live there with my partner?
It is not possible to sub-let you room to the third side, the room can be used only by the person who signed the hand-over protocol. If you booked Private apartment or Double room where 2 people can be accommodated, it is up to you, with whom you will live, however Zeitraum has to be informed about second person staying in the room.
Are pets allowed?
No, keeping pets is not allowed.
Can I remove the furniture or paint the walls?
No, it is not allowed to make any permanent changes in the room, make holes in the wall, use tape or sticky tack. The arrangement of the furniture can be changed.
Do I need to clean my own room and bathroom?
Yes, you are responsible for keeping your room and the bathroom clean. Don’t forget to clean up after yourself when you finish using the kitchen in the common area too. If you don’t have time to clean your room, our housekeeping will be happy to clean it for you, as well as change the bed sheets, for a fee.
Can I borrow a vacuum or an iron from you?
Yes, vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket and iron can be borrowed at our reception for free. Ironing board can be found in the laundry room.
Where can I do laundry? How do I pay for laundry?
We have three washing machines and a dryer in the -1 floor. Tokens for these are sold at our reception, each costs 60 CZK. We do not provide any detergents.
Is smoking allowed in the building?
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the whole building including smoking out of the window. You can only smoke outside of the building.
Where do I pick up my mail? How do I get packages?
All the mail and packages are delivered to our reception. Just use our address and your name, once the mail/package arrive to the reception we send you an email, so you can pick it up.
What if I cause some damage in or outside of the room?
In case you happen to cause some damage, the expenses need to be covered. You will be charged according to the damage price list. Preferably to pay immediately at the reception, or the amount will be charged from your deposit.
When am I supposed to check out of my room?
You have to check out of your room before 11 am on the last day of your contract. In case you need to store some luggage, we have a storage room for this purpose. Late check-outs are possible for the fee only in case the room will not be occupied by another following reservation.
We ask you to leave the room in the condition you took it over.
